影片简介：
秦岭脚下的一个乡村天主教堂，一群面朝黄土北朝天的村民，他们相信主会保佑他们。
婚丧嫁娶、朝圣祷告、村民的不满都在一代接一代的发生着，改变着，并延续着，像河水一样没有结局，也没有终点。
这里的人们仅拥有微薄的收入和最基本的物质生活保障。他们生存在天主教与现实之间，由此而产生出一套独特的处事哲学。神父为了筹集善款修缮雨水冲垮的修道院周旋于形态各异的面孔之间，村民们也用独特的生活经验来看待世间诸事。
Synopsis:
A rural Catholic church located at the foot of Qinling Mountain is the Catholic pilgrimage site in China. A group of hard-working villagers share the faith that God bless them.
The previous Village-head who is corrupted steps down on Christmas Day, 2008 after the village-wide votes, and a new one takes office. However, the long-expected "new" head acts exactly like the "old" one.
The monastery of the rural church is destroyed by the floods in 2009. So the priest travels extensively, raising money for the reinforcement of the church.
In spring, 2010, the raised money is still unfortunately not enough for the reinforcement. The priest decides to take a chance to promote his reinforcement plan on the annual Pilgrimage Day. Just when the day is about to come, the government officials from the city who are in charge of religious work appear without any expectation…
导演阐述:
mao的形象是一个符号，是在这样一个时代躲不开的符号，开篇的一段，宋神父为亡人的土房降福，墙上一边挂着mao宣传画，一边挂着十字架。结尾处，终于筹到第一笔捐款的村民们兴奋的点着手中一摞红色mao头像的纸币。村民们在葬礼上谈起了治国之道，感叹只有流氓才能统治中国，你我都是良民，良民是无法治国的。mao对这个国家的影响远远要大于在这里笃信了200年的天主教，每一个生活在这块土地上的人，都无法躲避，管理宗教的官员，神父，贪污的村长，企图推翻村长腐败统治的小村民，一边是mao时代留下的乌托邦幻想，一边是天主的救赎。就像张楚的《上苍保佑吃完了饭的人民》里唱的：天堂实在太高太远，我们也只能这样忍受。

导演简介：
李淼
男，出生于1981年11月，籍贯山东。毕业于中国传媒大学影视美术专业，职业：电影美术师。
电影《唐山大地震》道具美术师，电影《巴黎宝贝》美术指导，电影《铜雀台》中方美术指导。
2008-2010年独立拍摄纪录片《上苍保佑》、《信徒》。
