剧情简介：
金财找了个女友，到了谈婚论嫁时，女方父母要求他出钱供女儿上卫校后再结婚。双方父母不能达成共识，棒打鸳鸯。金财不死心，拿着农药跑到女方家里，结果人亡。
待业在家的国庆与好友小广，想出互相吹捧来混出头的法子，可屡试之下并没有成效。小广泡到了夜总会小姐，与小姐前男友谈判时约国庆来帮忙，不想中了埋伏，国庆落得个瘫痪的结局。
煤矿工作的铁英和发廊的小娟处对象后，改去建筑工地干活，意外坠楼险些成了植物人。等他恢复健康，女友已经有了新对象……
Synopsis:
It’s about a handful of young people’s life in a small city of Northeast China. Jincai asks his girlfriend to marry him. But his girlfriend’s parents tell him he must help the girl go to the nursing school at first, which requires a lot of money. Jincai’s parents disagree with them and break off the engagement. Jincai kills himself by drinking a small bottle of pesticide…
Guoqing and Xiaoguang are unemployed. They want to control the town and make fortune. They’ve tried to hype themselves to get famed but failed. Xiaoguang chases after a women from a night club. One day as he meets the woman’s ex-boyfriend, they have a fight. Guoqing goes to help him but gets beaten up by the gang. As a result of the attack, Guoqing is paralyzed…
Tieying once was a miner. When he falls in love with a hairdresser Xiaojuan, he resigns from the coal mine and finds a job in a construction site. Unfortunately, he gets heavily injured in an accident at work. His girlfriend breaks up with him soon…
